WordPressサイトとInstagramを連携

概要

街中を歩いていて素敵な風景が飛び込んできたり、おしゃれなカフェで美味しそうなデザートに巡り合ったり…そんな時、いつも一眼レフが手元にあるわけではないですよね。

今ではスマートフォンがあればその一瞬を切り取り、Instagramに投稿したりもできますが、わざわざWordPressサイトに再度投稿する手間を考えると面倒くさいです。

WordPressのプラグイン「Instagrate to WordPress」を使用すれば、Instagramに投稿した内容がWordPressに自動的に投稿されます。

今回は、「Instagrate to WordPress」のプラグインの導入手順について記載しています。

手順

※本サイトはマルチサイト構成の為、サブディレクトリ型マルチサイトでの設定方法で記載しています。

1.[ 参加サイト ] > [ サイトネットワークの管理 ] > [ プラグイン ]をクリック。

2.【新規追加】をクリック。

3.「プラグインの検索…」で [ Instagrate to WordPress ] と入力。

4.表示された [ Intagrate Lite ] を選択して【今すぐインストール】をクリック。※すでにインストール済みなので【サイトネットワークで有効化】が表示されています。

5.プラグインを有効化します。

マルチサイト全てでこのプラグインを使用したい場合は、「サイトネットワークで有効化」します。

一部のサイトで有効化した巣場合は、各サイトのプラグインで「有効化」します。

[ Intagrate Lite ] を [ 有効化 ] をクリック。

6.環境設定を行います。

[ Settings ] をクリック。

7.Instagramにログインします。

「 Please login security to instagram to authorise the plugin – Log in 」をクリックしてInstagrameにログインします。

8.プラグインのセットアップ画面が表示されます。

以下の設定を行い【Update Optins】をクリック。

All Images after this image will get auto posted. Select to retrospectively post images from your feed.
(この画像の後のすべての画像は自動投稿されます。フィードから画像を遡及的に投稿する場合に選択します。)

※これからのInstagram投稿を掲載していくなら、最後の画像を選択しておきます。

□Check this to bypass the is_home() check when the plugin auto posts.

Debug Mode

This is off by default and should only be turned on if you have a problem with the plugin and have contacted us via the Support Forum. We will ask you to send us the debug.txt file it creates in the plugin folder.
( これはデフォルトではオフになっており、プラグインに問題があり、サポートフォーラム経由で私たちに連絡した場合にのみオンにする必要があります。作成したdebug.txtファイルをプラグインフォルダに送信するように求められます。)

補足

意外と便利ですが難点があります。

設定に誤りがあるのかそもそもできないのか、「キャプション」で書いた記事がすべてWordpressのタイトルに挿入された状態で投稿されます。

ですがらPost Status(公開の状態)は「下書き」にして確認してから投稿にしていますが、この辺が少しめんどくさいです。

それから、複数の画像を投稿しても最初の画像のみが表示され、残りの画像は投稿されません。

Instagramで画像を加工したデータはカメラロールに残っているので、再アップすればよいだけですがこの辺を踏まえても使い勝手がよいとはいえないかもしれません。

ですが、まあ、それでも便利ですので気になる方はお試しください。
